Vice Admiral Sarin mentioned the integration of modern technologies like telemedicine, Artificial Intelligence (AI), point-of-care devices, and drones to enhance healthcare delivery within AFMS.
Technological advancements, including genetic diagnostics and therapy, Next-Generation Sequencing platforms, and medical simulation, are being adopted at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) to further medical research and training.
The AFMS is responsible for the health needs of astronauts, including those involved in the Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station, and is ensuring healthcare support through advanced medical facilities.
