- JPJ has announced that SJJ and QBH are the next number plate series to go up for bidding on its online auction platform, JPJ eBid.
- Sabah’s latest running number series is ‘SJJ’, and it will open for tender on December 20. The bidding period on JPJeBid is five days, ending 10pm on December 24.
- The Sarawak series ‘QBH’ is also available on JPJ eBid. The bidding period starts on December 17 and will close at 10pm on December 21.
- New car owners can bid for their preferred number plates directly on JPJ eBid, avoiding reseller’s markup and runner fees.

2025 Toyota Prado, Kia EV5 earn five-star safety ratings
- The Toyota LandCruiser Prado and Kia EV5 have both received five-star safety ratings from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP).
- The Prado achieved good protection in the frontal offset head-on crash test, but received a marginal chest result and only adequate protection for the driver's lower leg. It scored maximum points for child occupant protection and performed well in active collision avoidance tests.

- On the other hand, the Suzuki Swift received a one-star safety rating in Australia despite being rated three stars by Euro NCAP due to differences in safety specification between the markets.

2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV Review – Massive Change Leads to Familiar Feeling
- Dodge's fully electric 2024 Charger Daytona EV will soon be available with two-door trims, including R/T and Scat Pack.
- The R/T has 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, whereas the Scat Pack comes with Direct Connection Stage 2 upgrade and offers 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque.
- Both trims come with all-wheel drive and an extra 40 horsepower available for 10 seconds via a PowerShot button.
- The Charger Daytona is launching at $59,995 plus $1,995 destination fee and both trims qualify for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit when leased.
- There is availability of in-home charger or $600 charging credits for owners.
- The R/T is a large, heavy performance car with well-sorted suspension and appropriately heavy steering which feels like an outgoing Charger. The Scat Pack is an adept highway cruiser with useful power for passing and merging.
- Available features include LED lighting, power liftgate, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, dual-zone climate control, leather seats, wireless device charging, head-up display, Bluetooth, and navigation.
- The R/T's range is 308 miles and the Scat Pack's is 241 miles with the front and rear electric motors each powered by 250 kW, and the top speed is limited to 135 mph.
- The pricing for this EV Charger R/T configuration costs $70,970 and the Scat Pack configuration costs $82,970.
- The styling is cool, inside and out, and commuting is laid-back and easy. However, the range and interior materials are a bit of a letdown.
