While services like banking, insurance, and transport may be impacted by the strike, both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will remain open for trading as usual on July 9.
The NSE and BSE have not announced any holiday for July 9, ensuring a normal trading day for stock market participants without any interruptions.
Stock exchanges in India operate on a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, with trading hours from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will continue trading equity derivatives, securities lending and borrowing, currency derivatives, and electronic gold receipts as scheduled on July 9.
