Foreign portfolio investors turned sellers of Indian equities after a single buying session, with net sales worth Rs 26.1 crore.
Domestic institutional investors continued as net buyers for the second consecutive day, purchasing equities worth Rs 1,366.8 crore.
Foreign portfolio investors have bought shares worth Rs 2,043 crore in July and Rs 14,590 crore in the previous month. However, in 2025 so far, FPIs have net sold equities worth Rs 75,858 crore.
NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex saw positive gains on Tuesday despite uncertainty surrounding US and India trade deals. Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank Ltd. were the top contributors to the Nifty 50 index.
