Former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is rejoining Goldman Sachs Group Inc. as a senior adviser after serving as prime minister from October 2022 to July 2024.
Sunak will work with leaders across Goldman to advise clients globally on various topics, leveraging his perspectives on the macroeconomic and geopolitical landscape.
Sunak first worked at Goldman as an analyst in the early 2000s and went on to co-found an investment firm before returning to the bank as an adviser.
Goldman Sachs, known for its ties to government figures, has hired Sunak in a trend where Wall Street firms bring on former politicians for geopolitical advice.
