Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd. reported a container cargo volume of 1.64 lakh TEUs in the June quarter, a 0.6% decrease from the same period last year.
Dry bulk cargo volume remained flat at 0.55 million tonnes, while liquid cargo volume increased to 0.41 million tonnes.
Container trains volume handled by Gujarat Pipavav declined slightly to 447 in the quarter, with containers handled on trains decreasing to 99,000 TEUs from 1.02 lakh TEUs year-on-year.
The stock of Gujarat Pipavav Port settled 1.3% lower at Rs 155.31 apiece on the NSE after the market hours. Analysts have mixed recommendations on the stock, with an average 12-month price target suggesting a potential downside.
