India participated in Australia's largest bilateral military exercise, Talisman Sabre, for the first time.
A total of 19 nations, including the US and 16 partner nations and two observer nations, are participating in the exercise.
Exercise Talisman Sabre 2025 is the 11th iteration of the largest warfighting exercise held in Australia involving over 35,000 military personnel.
The exercise includes live-fire exercises, field training activities, amphibious landings, ground force maneuvers, and air combat and maritime operations, showcasing new Australian Defence Force capabilities.
