Mumbai Rains: Middle Vaitarna Reservoir Swells To 90% Capacity, Dam Gates Partially Opened

  • The seven lakes supplying water to Mumbai, including Middle Vaitarna, have seen a rise in water levels due to continuous monsoon rains.
  • The BMC reported that the combined capacity of the seven lakes stood at nearly 68%, with expectations of further rise in water levels in the coming days, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts.
