TCS experienced a decrease in the number of customers generating over $100 million in revenue, dropping from 64 in Q1FY25 to 62 in Q1FY26, a decline of 1 on a yearly basis.
However, TCS observed growth in the number of customers contributing in the $1 million, $5 million, and $10 million revenue segments, with a decline in the $50 million band from 140 in Q1FY25 to 131 in Q1FY26.
TCS MD and CEO mentioned an increase in customers with revenues over $1 million to 1,336, signaling a rise of 26 from the previous year.
The industry is showing a trend towards cost optimization and smaller projects, attributed to global economic uncertainties impacting large transformation projects.
