<ul><li>Spotify is reportedly planning layoffs in an effort to cut costs, according to sources familiar with the plans, with layoffs expected as early as this week.</li><li>The number of job cuts wasn’t specified. In October, Spotify let off 38 staff from its Gimlet Media and Parcast podcast studios, in addition to podcast editorial employees laid off in September.</li><li>According to its Q3 earnings report, Spotify has around 9,800 employees.</li></ul>
