Apple has unveiled its new Mac mini, featuring a new chip and a revamped design.The new carbon-neutral device is significantly smaller, taking up less than half the desk space of the previous model.Its weight has also decreased from 2.6lb to just 1.5lb.The M4 and M4 Pro chips have been added to the Mac mini, offering up to a 14-core CPU and 20-core GPU content.The new HP Spectre x360 comes with a 90Hz OLED display that can be used with a stylus.Apple is marketing the M4 Mac mini as being six times faster than the top-selling PC desktop in its price range.The previous two USB-A ports have been removed and replaced with three Thunderbolt ports in the back.It has two USB-C ports and a headphone jack on the front, and an HDMI port and Ethernet jack on the back.Apple has also doubled the base memory from 8GB to 16GB.The starting price of the new Mac mini is $599.
