The Cupra Leon hatchback range will receive a new engine and a flagship wagon model when it arrives in Australia in 2025.
Petrol-powered versions of the facelifted Leon hatch are expected in Q2 2025, followed by plug-in hybrids and the Leon Sportstourer wagon in mid-year.
The updated Leon will feature a new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 110kW power, mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch auto and a 48V mild-hybrid system.
The range will include a 150kW petrol engine and a 200kW plug-in hybrid, while the VZ model and a high-end VZx variant with 221kW will also be available.
