GWM has added a diesel engine to its Tank 300 and enhanced the petrol and hybrid variants with increased capability updates.
These updates include larger front brake rotors, reinforced prop shaft, upgraded wheel bearings, strengthened front suspension knuckles, and increased towing capacity to 3000kg for petrol and hybrid versions.
Payload has been increased to match the diesel vehicles, and GWM has discontinued the petrol and hybrid versions of the entry-level Tank 300 Lux model.
The Tank 300 now falls into the category of heavy off-road passenger vehicles due to its higher towing capacity, impacting its CO2 emissions target.
