<ul><li>China's JAC has chosen Australia for the global debut of its latest model, the Hunter PHEV dual-cab ute.</li><li>The Hunter PHEV, also known as the T9 Hunter, will be released in early 2026 and compete with the BYD Shark 6, GWM Cannon Alpha PHEV, and Ford Ranger PHEV.</li><li>The Hunter PHEV is the most powerful JAC ever, with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, dual electric motors, and a 32kWh battery enabling at least 100km of electric-only range.</li><li>The Hunter PHEV will feature a rotary gear selector, and pricing and specifications will be announced closer to its launch in 2026.</li></ul>
