The core variants of the Tesla Model Y have been priced for Australia, with the new-look and better-equipped electric SUV due to arrive in late May or early June.
Priced from $58,900, the base Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) is now $3000 dearer than before its facelift, however, there’s more equipment and a greater driving range to justify the increase.
The Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is now $1000 cheaper, starting from $68,900.
The new Model Y features a sleeker design, increased driving range, overhauled suspension, heated and ventilated front seats, and a larger infotainment touchscreen.
