Lexus Australia is introducing the NX450h+ AWD Luxury plug-in hybrid (PHEV) as the cheapest PHEV model, priced at $84,500 before on-road costs.
This model will be below the NX450h+ AWD F Sport flagship, priced at $96,000, and will replace the petrol-powered NX250 Luxury due to reduced demand.
The NX450h+ Luxury will come with standard features such as proximity entry, leather upholstery, heated seats, wireless connectivity, and a 227kW plug-in hybrid powertrain.
The new trim level is set to arrive in September 2025 following a suspension of orders for the NX450h+ that lasted over 18 months, with Lexus aiming to meet increased customer demand.
