The 2026 Nissan Patrol will have Australian-made parts from the Nissan Casting Australia Plant in Victoria, with plans to be available in local showrooms later in the year.
The Dandenong plant achieved official Australia Made status in 2025, exporting components to as many as 40 countries worldwide, including towbars adorned with the Australian Made logo.
The Nissan Casting Australia Plant produces 1.2 million parts annually for Nissan factories globally, including components for electric vehicles and hybrid technologies, such as for the Nissan Qashqai and Leaf models.
Nissan's global restructuring strategy includes closing seven out of 17 facilities by early 2027, with the Dandenong facility in Australia receiving a $4.6 million investment in 2024, employing 192 people and exporting around $82 million worth of parts annually.
