The 2027 BMW X7 large SUV has been spied testing, confirming a second generation with a battery-electric iX7 version expected in showrooms from 2027.
The new X7 will use an updated version of the current vehicle's underpinnings, will be offered in petrol-hybrid and electric powertrains, and might retain V8 engine options in certain markets.
The internal-combustion engines will still be offered for models, and the iX7 electric version might use 800V technology developed for battery-electric models.
The design language for the next X7 will align with the Neue Klasse design, to be rolled out across the BMW product portfolio, departing from traditional BMW SUV design.
