Researchers at Monash University have developed a program to create photorealistic, 3D-printed replicas of dissected body parts. The program aims to bridge the gap between anatomy textbooks and cadavers in medical and allied health education.Using 3D scanning and printing technology, the researchers have created durable resin replicas of human tissue prosections. These photorealistic models provide a closer match to the reality of human tissue and can be used in areas where real tissues are not accessible.
