The new Sydney Fish Market by 3XN Architects has completed its 200-meter-long floating roof canopy.
The roof consists of 594 timber beams and over 400 panels, weighing 2,500 tonnes.
The project aims to enhance Sydney's reputation as a premier seafood destination and will include a fresh seafood market, restaurants, and a seafood school.
The Sydney Fish Market is part of the broader Blackwattle Bay redevelopment, which will introduce 1,100 new homes and enhance pedestrian and cycling infrastructure.
