The Punjab government plans to deploy 400 electric buses in Lahore to improve air quality and combat smog issues.
The initiative is part of a 10-year anti-smog plan that aims to reduce emissions and promote greener public transportation.
Starting from January 2025, 27 electric buses will be introduced, followed by the deployment of 400 electric buses by the end of the year.
Alongside the electric buses, the government is implementing various measures to address smog, including regulating brick kilns and promoting eco-friendly agricultural practices.
