Netflix has several critically acclaimed movies that may help it clinch a Best Picture Oscar, including Emilia Prez and The Piano Lesson.
However, some popular hit movies like It Chapter Two, The Little Things, Frances Ha, Troy, and What to Expect When You’re Expecting will leave Netflix by the end of November 2024.
It Chapter Two is a horror film about a group of outcasts who force Pennywise the Clown to retreat into the depths of the sewers. Twenty-seven years later, they reunite to face the malicious clown once again.
The Little Things, starring three Oscar winners, is a murder thriller that follows Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon (Denzel Washington) in tracking a new serial killer and zeroing in on Albert Sparma (Jared Leto) as a suspect.
Frances Ha is a black-and-white coming-of-age comedy that follows a 27-year-old dancer who contemplates her professional future and ponders if dancing is still her dream.
Troy loosely follows Homer’s Iliad with Brad Pitt portraying the perfect actor to play a Greek soldier and depicts the bitter rivalry between Sparta and Troy and their battle during the Trojan War.
What to Expect when you’re Expecting brings together a talented ensemble cast of A-listers, comedians, and charming performers who all navigate different parenthood stages.
All these five movies will leave Netflix, so watch them before they're gone. If you need a break from Christmas movies, these movies are worth watching.
