<ul><li>Nearly 700 kgs of banned tobacco products were seized during a raid at a supermarket in Kadakkal, Kerala.</li><li>The contraband was found stacked in several gunny bags and stored in a shed adjacent to the supermarket.</li><li>The shop owner, who has been involved in similar cases before, managed to flee during the raid.</li><li>Around one lakh tonnes of various banned contrabands have been seized by the Chadayamangalam Excise personnel in the last month.</li></ul>
