SANAA's Better Co-being Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka is a delicate field of white columns and translucent canopies designed by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa.
Curated by Yuko Hasegawa and produced by Hiroaki Miyata, the pavilion explores new forms of coexistence through unenclosed architecture and natural elements.
The pavilion's open design allows the landscape to flow through, creating soft pathways and gathering points for interaction and imagination.
Photographed by William Mulvihill during construction, the pavilion embodies SANAA's ethos of lightness and ambiguity through precise material detailing.
