Some top Tesla investors are urging Elon Musk to return to full-time work at the company and commit to at least 40 hours a week.
The investors have also requested a clear CEO succession plan, set limits for board members' outside commitments, and bring on an independent director.
They expressed concerns over Tesla's stock price volatility, declining sales, treatment of workers, and Musk's involvement in politics outside his role at Tesla.
Musk recently confirmed the end of his time as a Special Government Employee and indicated a renewed focus on Tesla and other projects.
