Fujikawaguchiko, a town in Japan, will erect a mesh barrier to deter negligent foreign tourists from taking photos of Mount Fuji. The barrier, which will be about eight feet tall and stretch around 65 feet, is being installed in response to disruptive behavior by tourists.Tourists have overcrowded the area, left trash, and disregarded traffic regulations, prompting the need for this preventive measure. The town hopes to remove the barrier once tourists' behavior improves.
