Sridhar Vembu, the founder of Zoho, believes that governments should focus on improving economic policies to allow common people to afford low-priced AI and robot-made products.
Vembu expressed that even if software development was automated in the future, there would still be tasks for humans and machines would not fully replace the workforce.
He suggested that the government's role is crucial in ensuring equitable distribution of wealth, emphasizing the need to address political and economic policies instead of just technological advancements.
Vembu called for governments to intervene and break up tech monopolies to reflect the actual low costs brought by automation and AI in the prices of goods and services.
