Google is planning to bring Adaptive Charging battery protection feature from its Pixel phones to the Pixel Watch line.
Adaptive Charging is designed to preserve battery health by preventing overcharging and relies on predicting the charging schedule.
The feature is not yet available and it is unclear which Pixel Watch models will be supported or its official launch date.
Adaptive Charging aims to avoid charging the Pixel Watch to 100 percent capacity until an hour before they are typically unplugged, in order to avoid battery degradation and prolong the lifespan of the cells.
