Hideaki Itsuno has announced he will be returning to development, leading a new studio called Lightspeed Japan Studio, a subsidiary of Lightspeed Studio owned by Tencent.
Itsuno, known for his work on the Dragon's Dogma series and the Devil May Cry series, left Capcom after 30 years with the company.
He expressed excitement about creating original triple-A action titles and building innovative gaming experiences for players worldwide.
Itsuno's latest release, Dragon's Dogma 2, was a major success, selling 2.5 million copies shortly after its release.
