AI startups are red hot. Check out 40 pitch decks used by founders to land funds from some of the biggest tech investors.

  • AI startups have raised about $84 billion in VC funding globally in 2024. Investment into startups using or creating artificial intelligence hit a record high in 2021, with $113.3 billion poured into the sector.
  • Recent high-profile funding rounds include Paris-based Mistral's $640 million raise, as well as OpenAI's banner $6.6 billion funding round which catapulted its valuation to $157 billion.
  • There are 40 pitch decks that founders used to raise millions for their AI startups, from top investors such as Temasek, Insight Partners, Alven, Index Ventures and more.
  • V7 is a startup that uses AI to speed up the property-buying process. Orbital Witness used a 14-slide pitch deck to raise $9 million.
  • ElevenLabs is a startup founded by ex-Google and Palantir staffers that uses AI to generate realistic voiceovers. It used a 14-slide pitch deck to raise $2 million.
  • Healthtech startups are also raising funds: Thymia uses AI to assess and track patients' mental health conditions raising $2.7 million, and This startup using AI to help nurses manage their workflow just landed $5.3 million.
  • Other enterprise AI startups include V7, a startup that helps Fortune 500 companies build computer vision AI models, and Opus, which uses AI to help train up deskless workers.
  • Buynomics uses behavioural economics to help predict customer behaviour and Screenloop use AI to remove unconscious bias in recruitment, raising $7 million in seed funding.
  • Fetch.ai helps companies build and deploy autonomous smart agents, raising $40 million with a 19-slide pitch deck.
  • Centuro Global, an AI startup, raises $4 million by using a 16-slide pitch deck.
