Airbus and Primoco UAV successfully tested surveillance flights to demonstrate the capabilities of Airbus' teaming intelligence software in managing drone swarms in real-time.
The first test involved two Primoco One 150 UAVs that were assigned individual surveillance areas and used AI-based automatic target recognition (ATR) software to detect threats simultaneously.
In the second test, one UAV monitored the target area while the other stood by, and once a threat was detected, it tasked the second UAV to identify and report the threat to the ground station.
The partnership between Airbus and Primoco aims to further develop the teaming intelligence software for integration into various aircraft and explore civilian applications beyond military use.
