- AKS now supports FQDN-based network policies at a cost.
- Advanced Container Network Services (ACNS) in AKS allows FQDN filtering for network policies.
- Enabling FQDN filtering requires enabling the preview feature and setting up the AKS cluster with the Cillium network provider.
- Once enabled, pods in the specified namespace with defined labels can reach certain FQDNs while blocking other URLs.
