Alex Chinneck’s monumental brick facade sculpture 'A week at the knees' is displayed at London’s Charterhouse Square during Clerkenwell Design Week 2025.
The sculpture creates an illusion of sliding down onto the grass, with raised 'knees' forming an arch for visitors to pass through.
Constructed using 7,000 real bricks and 4.6 tons of reused steel, the artwork reduces carbon emissions significantly.
Visitors can view the sculpture for free until the end of June 2025, marveling at its unique design and incorporation of recycled materials.
