Palworld is a vast and sprawling map that requires players to make use of all sorts of different Pals to get around. The game world features numerous cliffs and other high terrain features that may bar player progression unless they find a flying Pal with which to travel.
There are a total of 21 Pals which can be utilized as flying mounts in Palworld. Of these, Jetragon is officially deemed the fastest, but also the hardest to tame. Other notable Pals with good air mobility include Beakon, Vanwyrm, and Ragnahawk.
If you want to catch Jetragon, you'll need to undertake the Alpha Boss fight. This Pal's catch rate is significantly low, but even if you don’t end up capturing it, you can still find other Pals with decent flying speeds to help you progress through the game until you finally get hold of one.
It can be hard to know where to look for the Pals you need, but we’ve compiled a complete list of where to find all of the riding Pals, broken down by location, environment and technology level required to tame them, as well as materials required to craft their saddles.
You can find Nitewing in the Eastern Windswept Hills and Marsh Island, amongst other locations. This Pal is of the ‘neutral’ element and requires a technology level of 15 to tame. Its saddle requires 20 leather, 10 cloth, 15 ingots, 20 fiber, and 20 Paldium fragments to craft.
Vanwyrm Cryst is an Ice/Dark attribute Pal and requires a technology level of 41 to tame. It is located only at night time in the Land of Absolute Zero and its saddle requires 24 leather, 12 ice organs, 18 ingots, 36 fiber and 24 Paldium fragments to craft.
Shadowbeak spawns at the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary as a Dark element Pal requiring a technology level of 47. It can be a rare find compared to other Pals, but can be bred by mating a Kitsun with Astegon. Its saddle requires 50 leather, 40 refined ingots, 25 venom glands, and 45 Paldium fragments to craft.
Alpha boss Jetragon resides in Mount Obsidian, is a Dragon element Pal with technology level of 50 and demands 100 leather, 200 refined ingots, 50 circuit boards and 140 Paldium fragments in total for its saddle. It’s a tough Pal to catch, so players need to make sure they’re up for the challenge!
Frostallion is another elemental Pal, with an ice attribute, and a technology level of 48. Its location is the Alpha boss arena in the Land of Absolute Zero and it requires a huge saddle cost of 100 leather, 200 refined ingots, 50 ice organs, and 75 Paldium fragments.
Suzaku Aqua is found at a Breeding Farm using Suzaku and Jormuntide as parents, while Faleris is present only in the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary. Helzephyr Lux needs Northern Sakurajima to spawn, whereas Selyne spawns only in meteorite events in Sakurajima.
Having these mounts in Palworld makes travelling so much easier, and as each Pal has unique skills, players can also use them to help them in battles.
