Google parent Alphabet exceeded expectations in its third-quarter earnings, with a 10% increase in advertising sales and a jump in cloud revenue driven by demand for AI services.
Alphabet's overall revenues grew 15% YoY, with cloud revenues reaching $11.35bn, up nearly 35% from the previous year.
Advertising revenue reached $65.85bn, showing strength in the digital advertising market, while YouTube advertising revenue exceeded expectations at $8.92bn.
Other Bets, including Verily and Waymo, reported revenue of $388m for the quarter, up from $297m a year ago.
