Alphabet's driverless Waymo cars record 2 crashes over 1 million miles
- Waymo, the autonomous driving company owned by Alphabet, has announced that its vehicles have completed more than one million miles as of January.
- The company reported that during this time, its vehicles were involved in two collisions and 18 minor contact events.
- Waymo also stated that over half of these contact events were caused by human drivers colliding with stationary Waymo vehicles.
