Amazon workers in the US are set to go on strike prior to Christmas as union members support industrial action over contract negotiations.
The Teamsters union announced that workers at the DIL7 delivery hub in Skokie, Illinois, as well as the JFK8 and DBK4 warehouses in New York City, have authorized strikes.
Strike action is also threatened at Amazon facilities in Southern California, Detroit, Portland, and outside Atlanta.
Amazon has been accused of ignoring negotiations and facing allegations of worker safety concerns as highlighted in a recent US Senate report.
