<ul><li>Amazon has opened a new corporate office in Singapore at IOI Central Boulevard, establishing the city-state as a key hub for its Amazon Web Services (AWS) operations in the Asia Pacific region.</li><li>The new AWS Asia Pacific Hub is designed to optimize agile working, learning, and collaboration as AWS continues to grow its business, operations, and investments in Singapore and Southeast Asia.</li><li>The office will house up to 3,000 employees across eight floors and over 360,000 square feet of workspace.</li><li>This expansion follows AWS’ recent announcement of an additional S$12 billion investment in its Singapore cloud infrastructure (2024-2028), projected to contribute S$23.7 billion to Singapore’s GDP by 2028 and support an estimated 12,300 full-time equivalent jobs annually.</li></ul>
