Amazon is set to settle a group claim from delivery drivers, ending a suit that could have cost the company £140m.
Delivery drivers, classified as self-employed, argued they were deprived of benefits like holiday pay and minimum wage.
Law firm Leigh Day brought the claim on behalf of at least 3,000 drivers, seeking an average compensation of £10,500 per year of work.
Details of the settlement offer have not been disclosed, but some drivers are expected to receive payouts worth tens of thousands of pounds after Christmas.
