Amazon has announced its new AI agent called Nova Act, which is designed to complete tasks in a web browser.
Built on Amazon's Nova AI models, Nova Act can break down multi-step workflows into smaller inputs and performs better than rival products from OpenAI and Anthropic.
The agentic AI tool aims for an accuracy level over 90%, particularly in browser-based tasks where AI tools often fail, such as handling pop-ups, drop-down menus, and dates.
The foundations of Nova Act have been integrated into the Alexa+ framework, allowing the virtual assistant to browse the web and perform tasks on behalf of users.
