AMD has unveiled new AI and data centre chips to expand its challenge to Nvidia's upcoming Blackwell chips.The Instinct MI325X AI chip, designed to compete with Nvidia's next generation chips, will enter mass production in Q4 2024.The chip includes a new type of memory to speed up AI calculations, and a next-generation MI350 series is planned for H2 2025.AMD also announced a new server central processing unit design called Turin, offering significant performance improvements.
