AMD has launched the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, a powerful consumer-grade processor designed to efficiently run LLMs.The processor features 16 'Zen 5' CPU cores, 50 peak AI TOPS XDNA 2 NPU, and an integrated GPU powered by 40 AMD RDNA 3.5 CUs.It is up to 4x faster in time-to-first token benchmarks compared to the competition with smaller models, and up to 12.2x faster with larger models.AMD also highlighted EPYC CPUs benchmarks surpassing Nvidia's Grace Superchip for enterprise AI use cases.
