AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 7 9800X3D gaming CPU will come with a $30 price increase.
The previous iteration, the 7800X3D, launched with a recommended list price (MSRP) of $449, putting the new CPU at $479.
Despite the increase, a $30 price hike is only 6% more than the previous model, which is considered acceptable.
AMD is expected to launch the Ryzen 7 9800X3D on November 7, and performance improvements have been rumored in the range of 3% to 13% for gaming and up to 25% in productivity.
