The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is facing a new lawsuit accusing the agency of racial bias and discrimination.
According to the lawsuit, the attorney, who is Black, claimed that the EEOC discriminated against her and violated the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The attorney alleged that she was berated by her supervisor, denied promotions, and treated differently compared to a White colleague.
This lawsuit comes amidst a shakeup at the EEOC, with President Donald Trump firing two Democratic commissioners and the agency rolling back protections against gender identity discrimination.
