Amsterdam-based Sympower has raised €21.3M in a Series B1 funding round to support the transition to renewable energy systems.
The funding round was led by A&G Energy Transition Tech Fund, with participation from the European Investment Fund and existing investors.
Sympower offers flexibility services that balance the supply and demand of electricity, enabling businesses to reduce costs and integrate renewable energy.
The funds will be used to expand Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and pursue mergers and acquisitions to strengthen market presence.
