<ul><li>Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu seeks Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's support to develop the state into an aerospace and defence industries hub.</li><li>Naidu proposed five hubs in Andhra Pradesh for aerospace and defence industries development, each specializing in different areas like missile production, aircraft manufacturing, and R&D.</li><li>He requested formal recognition of these hubs by the Central government to attract investments and sought support for projects involving defence public sector undertakings like BEL, MIDHANI, and HAL.</li><li>Additionally, Naidu requested the establishment of a DRDO Industry–Academia Centre, a common storage policy for ammunition, and support for expanding projects related to aircraft production and testing facilities.</li></ul>
