Samsung's VR headset prototype, Project Moohan, has been shown in a YouTube video by Marques Brownlee, along with some Android XR features.
Project Moohan has a similar design to the Apple Vision Pro headset, with a single adjustable strap round the back and optional light blockers.
It relies solely on hand tracking and supports mixed reality but lacks traditional VR controllers.
Android XR's Gemini feature is included, and is just as smart as your smartphone version, with many of the same features. It allows users to talk to it and search the web using voice.
Gemini would work a lot better on glasses than a headset, according to the article.
It is still early days, and Samsung and Google may be able to convince developers to create exclusive and meaningful uses for Moohan.
Samsung has not yet announced the price of Project Moohan.
TCL has three new smart glasses in the running for the best of 2025 and Asus' Tarius VR headset could use the Meta Quest 3's best feature to defeat it.
