The institute will have two main initiatives - Slingshots for early-stage projects with fast-track grants and Moonshots for larger grants tackling significant challenges in healthcare, workforce reskilling, and more.
Laude Institute will also invest in foundational work like funding the new AI Systems Lab at UC Berkeley with $3 million annually for five years.
