Announcing the final group of top VCs to judge the Startup Battlefield 200 Final at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024
- TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 is all set to host its Startup Battlefield 200 in San Francisco, where two hundred hand-selected companies will grace the expo hall.
- The competition has five companies selected to pitch in the Battlefield Final, which will be judged by top-level VCs.
- The VCs participating in the event include Navin Chaddha, who leads Mayfield Fund, Chris Farmer, CEO of SignalFire, Dayna Grayson, Co-founder & General Partner of Construct Capital, Ann Miura-Ko, Co-founding Partner of Floodgate, and Hans Tung, Managing Partner at Notable Capital.
- Mayfield has raised eight U.S. funds, led by Navin Chaddha who is a Forbes Midas List of Top 100 Tech Investors fifteen times. Navin has invested in over 60 companies including Lyft, Poshmark and SolarCity, with $120 billion in equity value created and over 40,000 jobs generated.
- Chris Farmer, previously a successful entrepreneur, has a focus on sectors including health and life sciences tech, developer tools, cybersecurity, and vertical AI SAAS while at SignalFire, he's led investments in companies such as Grammarly, Frame.io, ClassDojo, and Stampli.
- Dayna Grayson believes in exclusively focusing on early-stage investments and investing behind accelerating changes in foundational industries that together make up half of the economy’s GDP.
- Ann Miura-Ko is a co-director of the Stanford Mayfield Fellows Program and co-founding member of AllRaise, an organization dedicated to increasing the success and prevalence of female funders and founders.
- Hans Tung is managing partner at Notable Capital and has invested in early-stage investments across the global digital economy, acquiring a considerable consumer internet portfolio, including notable companies like Airbnb, Coinbase, Ibotta, Peloton, Poshmark, Quince, Stockx, and TikTok.
- The Startup Battlefield winner, who will walk away with a $100,000 equity-free cash prize, will be announced at Disrupt 2024.
