Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.2702 (KB5048761) is being released to Dev Channel with new features, improvements and fixes.
The build includes new advanced camera options page that has two configurations for cameras - multi-app camera that allows multiple application access and basic camera.
A passwordless future is being launched by Microsoft with API support for third-party passkey providers and updates to WebAuthn APIs to support a plugin authentication model for passkeys.
New features that are gradually rolled out include improved filtering for Start menu based on browsing history and ability to change time zones by standard users.
The build includes fixes for issues such as mouse cursor stuttering, invisible mouse cursor with a black box behind it, oversaturated games and an incorrect policy in case of a roll-back from Build 26120.2510
Windows Insiders can now try out Microsoft Edge Game Assist (preview) which is an in-game browser optimized for PC gaming to provide rich gaming-centric browsing experience, including favorite, history, cookies and form-fill access.
Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel receive updates based on Windows 11, version 24H2 via an enablement package and features are generally rolled out using Control Feature Rollout technology.
Some features in active development for preview may not work fully with Recall and Click to Do.
